Yes today is the birthday of the very talented Nikky Hall of 'Polkadoodles' fame. So I'd like to take this opportunity to wish her lots of love 'n' luck.
Seriously I hope my card arrived in one piece and not in a screwed up soggy mess but if not here it is again in a 'virtual' version.
What design do you send a designer? Is it an insult to send someone else's image? I have no idea so I sent her one of her own digi's from the Candy Doodles CD Rom coloured in with alcohol markers. I cut it out inked the edges and mounted it on to a spellbinder mat. I finished the topper off with a little raffia bow.
The backing paper comes from polkadoodles Sugar Birdies CD Rom I inked the edges and stuck it on an 8x8 card plank. I then added a bit of inked lace added my topper on foam tape along with a greeting and just to add another bit of texture I added a few wooden 'inked' flowers. Hope she likes it!

Forgive Me Crafters
For I Have Sinned! It's been 3 months since my last post! So I thought it was about time I did something about it. It's not that I haven't made any cards since then, I'm just so addicted to Twitter I end up showing it on there instead. So this time I've been good & saved one!
I printed off the cute image from Polkadoodles Candy Doodles CD Rom and coloured it in with a combination of pro and flex markers. I then cut it out using a spellbinders lacey circle die and inked thru with distress ink. I printed the green backing paper from polkadoodles Sugar Plum Daisy CD Rom and layered it with a smaller square of polkadot embossed card which was inked around the edges. I then added a contrasting piece of ribbon. The greeting is again from Polkadoodles (pen & part circle 3) cut out on a smaller spellbinder lacey circle. A few paper flowers & leaves, et voila!
Worth the wait? I appreciate any comments, good or bad.
