I'm not very experimental when it comes to colour so thought I'd have a play. I coloured my stamped image with promarkers mat & layered it onto some bright card stock. I added a punched border and some velvet orange ribbon a flower and edged it with some faux stitching.
I would like to enter this card into Emergency Crafters 'Bold & Bright' challenge.

Happy Birthday Hubby
I've thoroughly enjoyed making this card for my OH. I chose Boofle (surprise, surprise) I stamped him twice in espresso adirondack and coloured using my flexmarkers, cappuccino & sandstone. I then stamped the knitted effect stamp over the top using the espresso. I glittered the base layer heart & layered up (omitting the heart from the top layer).
I then inked the edge of my circular topper with Tim Holtz distress ink. Matted it onto a scalloped matching card stock.
I made an easel style card using papers from the Boofle range made a scalloped border and stuck on a few peel offs.
Hope the old boy likes it!

Boofle
Between trying to work out how to use Blogger more easily, nursing a poorly OH & cooking dinner I've managed to produce another Boofle card. I just love this little fella and so looking forward to the release of him on CD Rom in a couple of weeks!
Anyway onto my card.. I used various sheets from the Docrafts Boofle 6x6 backing papers. Stamped the image and coloured him in with flexmarkers. To get the knitted effect I stamped over the top using the Boofle urban stamp ~ I'm really pleased with the look. To finish I added a few flowers and a sentiment.

Boofle
Today I've been playing around with the Boofle kits I received for my birthday. He's such a gorgeous little character I just love crafting with him.
