White & One Other Colour

Like most of us this time of year I seem to be up to my eyes in 'stuff' so this weeks mid challenge inspiration over at Polkadoodles had to be something quick. I made the card from one collection. Using shades of brown & white.

The word 'Birthday' in this collection is in png format so I opted to place it on the backing paper and adding the word 'Happy' within my graphics programme before printing. I think that was about the hardest part then just a case of matting and layering the other components. Seriously if you're looking to make quick cards or better still you've never tried to make a card before why not go for something like this? All you really need is a the collection and a printer. Oh and some glue. I added a bit of lace and candi but thats it!

Thanks for dropping by. Please feel free to leave me a comment I love to read them x

Sympathy

I always struggle with sympathy cards. I'm not in the least bit religious so do not possess imagery or dies of that type but I needed to send a very dear friend a card to let her know I was thinking of her at a very difficult time. I went through my CD collection and found Crafters Companion Morehead collection.

I'm pleased with it. What do you think?

Forever Autumn

Hi all! Autumn has to be my favourite time of year all those crispy, crunchy leaves under your feet and all those gorgeous colours...... and that my friends is the inspiration over at The Polkadoodles Challenge Blog this fortnight.

I used my Lyra Rembrandt Pencils to colour in one of the Colour Therapy 1 sheets and combined it with the fox from work & Play 10 - Country Life collection again coloured up with Lyra. The sentiment is from the same collection and was then embossed with a leaf design and inked with distress inks to match. I finished by adding a paper bow & a bit of bling.

Thanks for stoppin' by, if you feel so inclined please leave a comment I do love to read them x
