Fantastic Birthday

It's now time for a well earned break from crafting but before I go I thought that I would share a card I recently made for my step dad's January birthday, using the brilliant Winston collection by Polkadoodles. The digi is coloured with my Lyra Rembrandt pencils. It was fun building up the fur texture, the printed papers, bow & greeting are also from the Winston collection. I just added some embossed card and ink.... Simples!

If you're a colouring fan why not pop along and share your work with us at Inky Pinkies on Facebook.

Have a very Merry Christmas everyone and I look forward to sharing more of my makes with you in 2016.

Home for Christmas

Morning all. Well we're another week closer to the big day, everyone is getting organised. Yesterday I realised what the day was and that I hadn't created anything for the Inky Pinkies! My organisational skills need a little more work ;-)

I sorted thru my stamps and decided on this little beauty from Premium Art Brands. I coloured it up with my Graph'its (Background 9100, 9101, 9102, 9103, 9104, House, 9400, 9401, 9402, 9403, 5210, 5220, 5240, 7125, blender) and added a bit of extra depth with my Lyra pencils and some sparkle with my Sakura Stardust pen. The background effect was also achieved using my Graphit's on to pearlised card. The cute little fairy lights are also part of the stamp set. I just added the glitter glue to make them sparkle.

Just Coasting

Morning all. I've been so busy of late with my sample making and DT duties I needed to make something quick to share with the Inky Pinkies Colouring Group today and this is what I came up with. A coaster 'for me'.

Close Up:

I used one of the alphabet digi's from Colour Therapy 1 and coloured it up with my Lyra pencils. The butterflies were coloured using glitter gel pens to add a bit of sparkle. All layered up and put through a laminator.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Traditional Christmas

It's great to experiment with different types of crafting but now its getting a little closer to the Christmas, 'quick' seems to be the order of the day.

I opted to do a little bit of hybrid crafting for this fortnight's challenge over at Polkadoodles. I used Picknix 3 Nordic Winter and worked out what I needed within my graphics programme.

That way I only printed off what I needed. All I added then was stuff from my crafty stash, in this instance, Gold mirri, gemstones & glue.

To add a little texture & dimension I used an embossing folder on the large green card & blinged it up with my gold, pan pastels, Foam bads to raise it up a little and job done! One traditional Christmas card!

Thanks for taking a peek! I'd love
it if you'd leave me a comment too x
