It's time for a brand new challenge over at the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog and it would be lovely to see some of you joining in this week. The design team are using the 'Traditional Christmas' theme but as usual you can join in with 'Anything Goes'.
What with life getting in the way sometimes you have to cut corners so this week I opted for pre coloured images from the oh so versatile Festive Christmas collection. All papers and embellishments are from the afore mentioned collection. I've just added some bakers twine and a bell plus sentiment from my crafty stash.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Feel free to leave me a comment as I do love to read them!

A Christmas Cracker
So today I thought I'd share a bit of festive humour with you, I used my Inky Pinky DT opportunity to design my Dad's Christmas card! Et Voila.... 😀😀😀.
I've not given it to him yet so I hope I can avoid him seeing it on social media first. This little beauty is called Revolting Kiss and she's part of the hilarious new collection 'Old Bag's' from Polkadoodles none of which are festive I hasten to add. I just used a Santa Hat from another collection as well as paper's, embellishments and die cuts to make her seasonal. A list of items used will be linked below.
She's coloured up using my alcohol markers and enhanced with pencils. I created the sentiment topper within my graphics programme leaving spacing for the die cut DAD lettering. My Dad has always had an eye for the ladies I wonder if he could pull this cracker?

Blue Christmas
Here's my take on a Blue Christmas for inspiration time over at the Polkadoodles Challenge blog. I really hope you can pop over and join in the fun? Everything used is pre coloured from the Twiggy & Toots Festive Fun Collection. I used one of the scene background papers and added the snowman within my graphics programme. I then printed the snowman off another couple of times to make my own decoupage. The lights and tree were also from the collection. I just added some sparkle. I then merged the sentiment onto one of the banners and added that to the bottom of my card.

Oh Christmas Tree ...
Morning all. As per usual I'm meeting myself coming back so am keeping my Christmas cards relatively CAS. Here's my DT make for The Pencil Case This card is made using the lovely Christmas tree digi on Twiggy & Toots Festive Fun. It really is a blank canvas for you to put your own take on. I used my Lyra pencils and the flicking technique to achieve the texture. For those interested the colours used are...
Tree: 080, 076, 075, 070, 067, 065
Star: 006, 007
Gifts: 021, 024, 026 + white gel pen for polkadots
The polkadot backing paper is also from the collection I matted that onto some contrasting card stock and stuck my coloured digi on flat. I then glittered up a piece of card to make the tree 'bucket' and adhered that, the star and the gifts using foam pads. I then decorated my tree using red, green and gold gemstones.

Ho! Ho! Ho!
Afternoon all, I'm a bit late with my Inky Pinky post today as I had to nip into town to pick up some sequins as I thought my finished project needed a little more bling. I used the fabulous Hollybobs Santa and coloured it up with my Graph'it Markers (Skin: 4101, 4125, 4150 Cheeks: 4135, 4145, Hair: 1230, 1270, 1280 Fur/Beard: 0000.9100, 9101, Outfit: 5210, 5215, 5220 Boots: 9506, 9507, 9508 Background: 9100, 9101, 9102, 9103, 9104, 9105, 9106 Sack: 1230, 1270, 1280) the parcels are coloured with my sakura glitter pens. Matted and layered onto cardstock from my stash. The Ho! Ho! Ho! sentiment is an old rubber stamp by Dovecraft. Another card to cross of my list, I hope you like it?

Fresh Outta the Pan....
....Sweet Gingerbread Man (and woman). I came up with this little gift idea instead of a card. It just involved working within my graphics programme, Resizing, cropping, layering. I then printed them off, folded them in half and added a bit of ribbon from my crafty stash. I bought the mini gingerbread men in the supermarket and transferred them into some 4"x 4" cello bags then stapled the little card toppers on. I just added some gemstones and tied the mini tags on with bakers twine.
A great little idea for school Christmas Fayres!

PPPPPICK up a Penguin
For my Inky Pinky creation today I combined the cute, little penguin digi and one of the tags from Winnie in Winterland. I coloured it up using my Graph'it Markers (9500, 9501, 9502, 9503, 9504, 9505, 9506, 4145, 4101, 1210, 1230, 1250) I also printed off a piece of holly from the same collection (8270, 8280, 8290, 3250, 3290, 5210, 5220) I glazed the berries with glossy accents. The decorative dies used are Grand Decorative Ovals One by Spellbinders.
This was all matted & layered onto an embossed A5 card. I finished off by adding some cream ribbon, a bow & some bling.

Winnie Winterland Fairy
Morning all today I have a pretty Christmas card to share with you using Winnie Winterland Fairy. The backing paper and sentiment are from Winnie Winterland Big Kahuna Bundle.
I printed her out to the size I required and then used my Detailed Scallop to cut her out. She's coloured up using nuvo markers. If you love your colouring too why not pop over and join our Inky Pinkies group on Facebook?

Woven Notebook
I thought long and hard about how I could incorporate paper weaving into my inspiration make this week. I eventually decided I needed to be more organised so made a book for my Christmas card lists. I used the Baked with Love collection and opted for the pre coloured images. I printed the image out 5 times to create my own decoupage, a greeting and two sheets of backing paper which I cut into strips.
I started by placing the green strips down vertically. taking care to just apply glue to the inside of the front cover of the notebook.
Once I'd finished with the green strips. I then weaved the red paper strips horizontally. Gluin at the ends.
Ending up with w woven background.
I then added the sentiment which I had glittered and my layered decoupage to which I had added some gems & sparkle.
I hope you like my project? Please feel free to leave me a comment. I do love to read them.

Trick or Treat Tag
Morning all. I was thinking what to make for my Inky Pinky DT project today and realised (what with being a bit long in the tooth and having grown up kids) that I hadn't even acknowledged the date so with that in mind, I coloured up one of the mummy digi's from Sundae of Seasons with my Graph'it Markers (skin: 4120, 4115, 4155, hair, 9405, bandages 9400, 9401, 9402, 9403, boots, 9403, 9494, 9405) the embellishments were either from the previously mentioned Sundae of Seasons or the Witchie Witchie 2013 download collection. I triple embossed the pumpkins to glaze them and added some silky purple cord from my crafty stash. I hope you like it x

Pretty Poinsettia
Morning Inky Pinkies how are we all? It's definitely getting chillier isn't it? I'm well on target to complete my Christmas cards this year which is very good for me, I can tell you!
Today I thought I'd share a 5" x 5" tent fold card I made using Stamp Soup Festive Christmas
I'm quite please with how the poinsettia turned out as I think with the shading it looks quite dimensional even though it is completely flat. I just built it up one stamped petal at a time and masking off where I needed to and coloured it in with my Graph'it Markers (5210, 5215, 5220) and added a little bit of Lyra Pencil enhancement (92, 93)
The background was achieved with one sheet of backing paper. The base layer was built up using various stamps randomly over stamping and the torn piece was edged with distress ink and the greetung was heat embossed with a gold embossing powder. A little bit of bakers twine wound around and some seed beads to the centre of the flower et Voila!

Red & Green Christmas
Morning all! Today I thought I'd take a break from card making and create something to make a gift look a bit special. I printed a couple of sheets of the backing paper (onto 300gsm card stock) and created a simple 'sleeve' to slide a box of sweets into then created different layers to decorate.
Most of what I used has come from the Festive Christmas collection some of which I tweaked in my graphics programme before printing off. The gingerbread 'people' were coloured in with my pencils adding a little bling to make them a little more 'festive'. I stamped and embossed the 25th stamp from the Red Red Robin set & added it to the top left corner
