You Rock!

Well what can I say about the new Polkadoodles release? the characters on this collection are just so adorable and I'm currently making loads of samples to share with you all. Today I thought I'd share a little decorative plaque with you. To speed things up a little I used one of the pre coloured images, one of the backing papers and texture papers, a sentiment and some embellies from the collection.

Happy Thoughts

This week the winter blues have really kicked in for me so for my Inky Pinkies DT make, I thought I'd try and perk myself up a little using some bright colours (1170, 1180, 5160, 5180, 2160, 2180, 7140, 7145, 6180, 9500, 9501, 9502) and a created myself a reminder ,,,,,, I need to hang this somewhere where I can see it on a daily basis.

Sorry about the shadows but once in the box frame they couldn't be helped

Once my creation was coloured I used a sheet of double sided sticky and went to town with the glitter just to add a touch of sparkle!

Sitting Pretty

The theme this week over at Polkadoodles is a winter birthday, I couldn't get the thought of a blue/grey colour combo out of my head so found a digi I hadn't used for a while and coloured her up first with my pencils (skin, 32, 31, 30, 87, 82, blouse, tights, 50, 49, 48, dress, 99, 98, 97, 96, 95) the gorgeous piper is in a sitting position so I needed something for her to sit on so trawled through my many collections and found the fence on Octavia Frosted Winter, along with the backing paper & flower. I used some snowy acetate as the front of my card which helped with the wintry feel.

If You Don't Like It.......

Well, I've decided that this year I'm going to try and become braver, bolder with my colouring. So much so that I'm doing an online colouring class. It's already had a positive affect on me as I'm practicing more and that can only be a good thing, Right? With that in mind I used the sentiment on this card 'If You Don't Like It Change It' as my inspiration. The digi is coloured with Graph'it Markers (skin, 4115, 4120, 4155, 4170, 4135, 4145, hair, 1210, 1230, 1280, shirt, blender, 9100, 9101, 9102, overall, 9102, 9103, 9104, 9105, scarf, blender, 5215, 5220, 5240, ladder & brush, 3105,3120, 3140, 1210, 1230, 4110, blender, wall, 1230, 1210, 4110, 3210, 4150, paint tin, 1210, 1230, blender & silver wink of stella, paper, 9100, 9101, blender, 5125)

Twit Twoo

Happy New Year folks! I hope you've all had a lovely Christmas. It's now back to normality (whatever that may be....) and here's my mid challenge inspiration post for the 'Anything Goes' Challenge at Polkadoodles.

I made an easel card from kraft kard and decorated it up using one of the design sheets from the fabulous Twiggy & Toots collection. I think the only extra's I used were a contrasting paper, printable ribbon and one of the flowers that I shaped and layered up just adding a bit of bling in the centre.
