Daisy, daisy

It's time for me to post a colouring for the Inky Pinkies DT and this week I feel that I've cheated somewhat with a CAS DL card.

Once again I've used my pencils, they are definitely my 'go to' at the moment. I used one of the digi's from the brilliant Lemonade Fizz with a little hand drawn border around the edge, Sometimes less is more ...........

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Monochrome Home

I saw a beautiful card last week coloured by the uber talented Nikky Hall and it inspired me to try colouring on watercolour card stock. For those interested in the colours they are Lyra Rembrandt brand and I used, 075, 076, 080, 082, 083.

I just love the Neighbours stamps but can't seem to find the exact ones I used on the website at the moment they are however on the All Around and Everywhere Cd, I created a little scene which I then coloured up with my Lyra Rembrandt pencils in sepia tones (075, 076, 080, 082, 083). The backing papers used are from the oh so useful Winston Cd ( it's one of my go to's) I finished the card off with some flowers from my craft box.

I don't really do Easter so am not at all sure who to send this to, so it got me to thinking.....maybe if you leave me a comment on my personal Fb page. I could pick a random winner to receive the card as a prize? I will pick a winner next Friday morning.

Thanks for stopping by!

Spring Has Sprung

It's time for a change of theme over at the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog and this fortnight it's those Spring Colours, we want to see.

I'm currently working behind the scenes on some fabulous, highly, top secret stuff that I can't share with you just yet. As I've not had much spare time, I used one of the design sheets from the devine Winnie ~ tell a lie I actually printed the same sheet off twice to give the card a little more dimension. Another thing I'm really into at the moment is using double sided sticky sheets over the front of backing papers/toppers and glittering them, it can really make your creation 'pop' (I'm not sure my photography skills do it justice).

There shouldn't need to be any explanation for the construction of my card, as I said earlier, great if you find yourself short on time!

Thank you so much for dropping by. If you feel so inclined please leave me a comment as I love to read them.

Tic Tac Toe

It's Tic, Tac, Toe inspiration time over at the Polkadoodles challenge blog and I went for the horizontal middle row, Polkadots, Nature & Lace. I used Work & Play 10, Countrylife for my creation, this week. I've made a square gatefold and for a change I've put the image (sorry I cheated and used a pre coloured image) on the inside and the greeting on the outside.
