Using a Die Cut

I don't know about you guys but after making Christmas card after Christmas card, my mojo for the new year has been on a go slow. As a DT at Polkadoodles we were given the subject of 'Use a Die Cut' and thankfully I have a step dad with an early January birthday so I combined those 2 things and came up with this....

A cute little A6 flip card in shades of blue & brown.

It's great to be kicking off the New Year with a brand new weekly challenge blog, Colour Crazy, no matter what your chosen colouring medium, pens, pencils paints.... pop on over and  join in the fun it would be great to see you!

For my first DT project I used cute little Blinkie from Cherryblossom Lane collection. He's also available separately as a digi stamp HERE or a clear stamp HERE. I coloured him up using my Prismacolor Pencils and for those interested here are the colours used.

New Beginnings

Happy New Year bloggers! I do hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas with your family/loved one's. Over at Polkadoodles we are kicking off 2017 with some inspiration. It's mid challenge time  and the DT are thinking about 'Something New'. I always think of January as a clean slate & a chance to change your out look so decided for a positive, new beginnings card. You of course are free to enter what you wish as 'Anything Goes'
