Odd ball Big Eye Boy

Thanks so much to Oddball for sponsoring this weeks challenge over at Crazy Colour Challenge, I chose Big Eye Boy and coloured him up with Graph'it Markers and used distress inks around the edge. I added this to a mixed media style background to create a 25th birthday card for my son.

Flowers

It's time for some good old inspiration over at Polkadoodles Challenge Blog. Isn't it nice to be into spring? Now the days aren't so grey and there are splashes of colour around, everywhere you look? It makes you feel so much better!

I've opted for a top folding A6 card and used Helga Hippo Flower Girl, I called her up in my graphics programme along with my chosen sentiment and resized them to fit my card front, I also called in some of the flower digi's to add to my finished card. The sentiment and flowers are part of the Helga Hippo Big Kahuna Bundle. I matted my image onto some matching card stock and added a couple of decorative corners using Ribbon/Gift Frame/Corners, layered up the flowers & added them along with a few sequins.
All of the colouring is done using Prisma Pencils.

Many thanks for stopping by. Please feel free to leave me a comment I do love to read them.

Using A Design Sheet

It's time for the DT over at Polkadoodles to show you what we can do by using a design sheet and I'm sure by looking at our inspiration you'll be amazed at what you can achieve I used Design Sheet 11 from Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles

I used the backing sheet, topper and one or two of the embellies to create this cute card with minimal supplies from my crafty stash (2 gemstones on the flipflops & raffia for my bunting).

Thanks so much for stopping by, It would be lovely if you could pop over to The Polkadoodles Challenge Blog & join in the fun. Challenges are always 'Anything Goes' for participants. Who knows you may even win a prize!

Believe in Yourself

Over at Colour Crazy Craft Challenge this fortnight we are being sponsored by the wonderful Bugaboo! I chose Bugunibelieve such a cute image & the sentiment jumped off the page at me. I lack self confidence and know to improve I have to step out of my comfort zone. So this week I decided to give colouring on kraft kard a go.

I used my Prisma pencils, initially, just the white then went over with the other colours to build depth (Unicorn/Clouds, 938, 1023, 1103, Rainbow, 1008, 956, 1026, 910, 915, 1002, 993, 994, 930, Ladybird/hat, 923, 924, 1030). Once coloured I went over the rainbow with my 'sparkle' pen. This photo doesn't really do it justice but trust me, it really shimmers! I coloured some candi with my alcohol markers to compliment the rainbow and stuck them on to add a bit of interest to the background.

Using Ribbon or Lace

This week for my Polkadoodles DT make I designed a lovely little 6 x 6" patchwork style card using the lovely zingy Lemonade Fizz (papers & flowers) and foliage from Bubbleicious Frame & Fancies. I added some faux stitching with a black fine liner to the patchwork background, and wrapped my irridescent ribbon around before adhering my shaped, layered, flowers & leaves then topped it off with a pretty bow.
