My interpretation was what I find 'Hot' and for me, funnily enough that means cool colours, lol. So I thought I'd share with you a really sweet cover I made for my new notebook. I used Ula Be A Princess but not before dragging her, kicking & screaming into my graphics programme where I had a beautiful backing paper waiting for her and then added the sentiment and scaled her to size. I then made a copy of just Ula and printed that off seperately. Ula's Life has some wonderful backing papers on and some templates for fab stencils. I used a couple of stencils to create more interest on my backing paper using distress inks.
I coloured in the base layer of Ula, paying more attention to the wings and outline then I moved on to my top layer. She's coloured up using my Prisma pencils. I then cut around my top layer snipping off the wings, long bits of hair & the jewels on top of her crown. I trimmed my base layer the fit my notebook then added my top layer with some silicone gel giving her a bit of dimension. replaced the jewels with some pearl drops, added sparkle to her wings and stuck on a few sparkly sequins. I think she looks like a proper Princess now.
I do hope you like this weeks creation, thanks for stopping by, feel free to leave me a comment as I do love to read them.
