Time for a brand new challenge over at Polkadoodles. You can enter with any project but the DT were challenged to 'Use a Die Cut'. I created a 5x5 easel card from scratch, this week I used Winnie Starfish/Sandcastle Collection & printed complimentary backing papers on both sides of my card stock. I used the Bubbleicious Frame Die to cut out my digi and coloured it in with my Prisma pencils. I adhered it with foam tape & then printed the sentiment and used my inks to colour match. I used a row of shells for my stopper.
Many thanks for stopping by. Please feel free to leave me a comment. I love to read them.
This week I thought I'd use Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Springtime Design Sheet. I'm amazed at how much Nikky manages to cram onto one of these things. There's also plenty over for future projects. I've left the little banner plain at the moment, that way I can personalise it for my intended recipient when needed. I do hope you pop on over to the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog and join in the fun. It's always 'Anything Goes' & you never know you may just win a prize!

It's time for a brand new challenge over at Polkadoodles and the DT have been asked to create something that's not square. If you wish to participate however you don't have to stick with our theme as it's always 'Anything Goes' anyway. I decided to construct a 3D project from Twiggy & Toots as my project. I printed the backing papers require out on 300gsm card stock then flipped it over and printed the templates onto the other side. then it was just a case of cutting them out and assembling my house. As a little decorative extra I added some gemstones & cut out some Flowers and Leaves and made some pretty little roses for the roof. I filled it with little chocolate eggs for a little Easter gift.
Thanks so much to Oddball for sponsoring this weeks challenge over at Crazy Colour Challenge, I chose Big Eye Boy and coloured him up with Graph'it Markers and used distress inks around the edge. I added this to a mixed media style background to create a 25th birthday card for my son.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Please feel free to leave me a comment. I love to read them!
It's time for some good old inspiration over at Polkadoodles Challenge Blog. Isn't it nice to be into spring? Now the days aren't so grey and there are splashes of colour around, everywhere you look? It makes you feel so much better!
I've opted for a top folding A6 card and used Helga Hippo Flower Girl, I called her up in my graphics programme along with my chosen sentiment and resized them to fit my card front, I also called in some of the flower digi's to add to my finished card. The sentiment and flowers are part of the Helga Hippo Big Kahuna Bundle. I matted my image onto some matching card stock and added a couple of decorative corners using Ribbon/Gift Frame/Corners, layered up the flowers & added them along with a few sequins.
All of the colouring is done using Prisma Pencils.

I used the backing sheet, topper and one or two of the embellies to create this cute card with minimal supplies from my crafty stash (2 gemstones on the flipflops & raffia for my bunting).
Thanks so much for stopping by, It would be lovely if you could pop over to The Polkadoodles Challenge Blog & join in the fun. Challenges are always 'Anything Goes' for participants. Who knows you may even win a prize!
Over at Colour Crazy Craft Challenge this fortnight we are being sponsored by the wonderful Bugaboo! I chose Bugunibelieve such a cute image & the sentiment jumped off the page at me. I lack self confidence and know to improve I have to step out of my comfort zone. So this week I decided to give colouring on kraft kard a go.
I used my Prisma pencils, initially, just the white then went over with the other colours to build depth (Unicorn/Clouds, 938, 1023, 1103, Rainbow, 1008, 956, 1026, 910, 915, 1002, 993, 994, 930, Ladybird/hat, 923, 924, 1030). Once coloured I went over the rainbow with my 'sparkle' pen. This photo doesn't really do it justice but trust me, it really shimmers! I coloured some candi with my alcohol markers to compliment the rainbow and stuck them on to add a bit of interest to the background.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I do love to read all of your lovely comments.
This week for my Polkadoodles DT make I designed a lovely little 6 x 6" patchwork style card using the lovely zingy Lemonade Fizz (papers & flowers) and foliage from Bubbleicious Frame & Fancies. I added some faux stitching with a black fine liner to the patchwork background, and wrapped my irridescent ribbon around before adhering my shaped, layered, flowers & leaves then topped it off with a pretty bow.

First there was Tulip. I coloured her up using my prisma pencils and I used various rubber stamps and coloured inks to create a more 'mixed media' style background.
Then came Daffodil. I don't tend to use a lot of yellow in my colouring so this one challenged me a little bit. I used my Graph'it Markers here.
Then there was Crocus. Now this one was scary for me, yellow and purple together??? Believe me it doesn't happen in my craft bubble but I decided to have a play. I coloured her up using my Lyra Pencils then decided to have a play with my Gansai Tambi water colours for the background. Add a die cut and a few gemstones and I achieved (for me) quite a bold look.
Next came Snowdrop. My new Tattered Lace dies and they fitted around this image perfectly, Out came the prisma's for this little beauty and I did go over the top of the flowers with a Spectrum Sparkle pen but of course the photo doesn't do it justice.
Finally comes the adorable Bluebell. I kept her CAS as she was just so pretty she's coloured with Lyra's too. This collection is just adorable I can't wait to make some more.

Happy Friday everyone. I'm here with some mid challenge inspiration for the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog as a DT we are 'showing a little love' but you can enter with anything goes! For this make I opted for a circular card and used ingredients from Work & Play 9 Love & Kisses download collection. I created my own decoupage using the cute little bird digi which I coloured up with my Lyra pencils (Birds, 71, 70, 68, 65, 02, 83, 82, 80, 007, 008, 009, 095, 096, 097, Large Heart, 29, 28, 27, Small Hearts, 27, 26, 24)
