A Christmas Cracker

So today I thought I'd share a bit of  festive humour with you, I used my Inky Pinky DT opportunity to design my Dad's Christmas card! Et Voila.... 😀😀😀. 

I've not given it to him yet so I hope I can avoid him seeing it on social media first. This little beauty is called Revolting Kiss and she's part of the hilarious new collection 'Old Bag's' from Polkadoodles none of which are festive I hasten to add. I just used a Santa Hat from another collection as well as paper's, embellishments and die cuts to make her seasonal. A list of items used will be linked below.

She's coloured up using my alcohol markers and enhanced with pencils. I created the sentiment topper within my graphics programme leaving spacing for the die cut DAD lettering. My Dad has always had an eye for the ladies I wonder if he could pull this cracker?

Festive Fun

Okay, okay it's a tad too early for Christmas, I hear you and I fully understand BUT you also have to understand that if you're a card maker and you like to make all your cards it takes quite a while. Which is why most of us take half the year to do it!

Now I've explained why I thought I'd share my first Christmas card of 2016 with you. It's made using Twiggy & Toots Festive Fun there are some fab digi's in the collection and I coloured this little fella up with my Graphit markers and some glitter gel pens. 

The sentiment and backing papers are also from the collection. I've just added card, ribbon, gemstones, glitter and glossy accents to complete my card.
